A Samsung official confirms that the Galaxy Note series has not been discontinued
The Galaxy Note series has always been one of Samsung’s most popular phone lines. However, during the previous period, we heard on several occasions that Samsung allegedly plans to discontinue production of the Note series. The company could merge the Galaxy S and Note series by adding S-Pen support to the S models.
However, a new report has appeared online indicating that Samsung will not discontinue the Galaxy Note series. Additionally, the company plans to announce a new Note phone in 2021.
As reported by Yonhap News, Samsung is preparing to release a new phone as part of the Galaxy Note series. A Samsung Electronics official has confirmed that the brand will release the Galaxy Note series over the next year. This means that the South Korean company is still not ready to give up the popular phone line.

It is also interesting that the ET News report previously mentioned that the company could announce a new phone from the Note series during the second half of 2021. However, the report points out that it could be the company's latest Galaxy Note phone.
It is suggested that Samsung plans to shift its focus from the Note series to phones with a flexible screen. It also turns out that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will arrive with support for the S-Pen smartpen. This was also confirmed by TM Roh - the president of Samsung's mobile division, who pointed out that the upcoming Galaxy S21 series will have support for the S-Pen.
