Lenovo unveils three new Nvidia RTX GPUs as part of its Legion R5 28IMB05 system
The new Lenovo Legion R5 28IMBO5 comes with a large number of CPU and GPU options, including video cards that are not currently available to the public. These new graphics cards are the Nvidia RTX 3050, RTX 3050 Ti, and RTX 3060 models. This is also the first unofficial announcement of the RTX 3050 Ti model.
Lenovo has not released detailed specifications of these new graphics cards, but has confirmed that the Nvidia RTX 3050 comes with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, and most likely a 128-bit memory bus. The RTX 3050 Ti is likely to use 6GB of GDDR6 memory and a 192-bit bus, while the RTX 3060 is expected to use 12GB of GDDR6 memory and a 192-bit memory bus.
The use of RTX branding on these video cards confirms that Nvidia's RTX feature set also reaches the company's cheaper products, offering hardware-accelerated ray tracing and AI-accelerated features to a wide range of users.
Nvidia will hold the Geforce Special Broadcast on January 12, during which the announcement of the RTX 30 series of mobile graphics cards and products from the lower segment is expected.
