MSI unveils Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO, confirms RX 6900 XT GAMING X TRIO
During the MSI Insider show, MSI announced a premium Radeon graphics card from the RX 6000 series, called the RX 6900 XT GAMING X TRIO.
The graphics card is still in the process of development. The PCB, for example, is not finished. This suggests that the RX 6900 XT has a different PCB than the RX 6800 XT model, probably with multiple connectors.
The host of the MSI Insider stream confirmed that the release of the graphics card is expected during February. However, this will largely depend on the progress of the production process that will be realized in January. If there are any delays or shortages of components, the graphics card will most likely be released in March.
MSI also showed a Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO graphics card during the stream. The video card uses a complete custom design, based on the Navi 21 XT GPU, the graphics card has a cooler with three fans, and it looks like a 2.7 slot design. The cooler has three heat conductors connected via six copper pipes, located above the GPU.
