Next year, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Google flexible phones will arrive

According to Ross Young from DisplaySearch, 2021 is expected to be great for flexible/flexible phones, especially in the second half of next year.

Young points out that flexible phones from Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Google will be released during this period. Of course, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip2, and Z Flip Lite are also expected next year. Young insists that the long-awaited Fold3 Lite will not appear and that the affordable flexible variant will arrive within the Flip line instead.

While it’s no surprise that Chinese manufacturers are entering the market race with their flexible phones, it’s interesting that Google will release one flexible Pixel phone. It is suggested that Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi will introduce a total of four flexible phones.

It remains to be seen whether a twisting model, such as the Oppo X 2021 concept or some other device, will join the list of upcoming phones.
