Published details and live photos for OnePlus 9 5G
The PhoneArena site has come up with a series of photos showing the next-generation OnePlus phone live - the OnePlus 9 5G. The photos were sent by an anonymous source, and their authenticity was confirmed by the site's contacts as well as the reliable informant Max Jambor.
The phone is photographed in silver, it has an updated camera system on the back. The camera module consists of two large sensors and a much smaller third camera, in addition to the usual LED flash. OnePlus has added "Ultra Shot" branding to this pre-production camera system.
On the front, the OnePlus opted for a flat screen with a punch-hole. The display has a size of 6.55 inches, and support for 120Hz refresh and HDR content has been confirmed. The screen resolution is 2400 x 1080p (Full HD +) and the aspect ratio is 20: 9.
The OnePlus 9 has a metal frame, which is most likely created from aluminum. There is a microphone on the top of the frame, while a USB-C port and speaker are located below, as well as a SIM card slot.
When it comes to specs, the chipset codenamed Lahaina is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. There’s also 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, slotted via a microSD card. The operating system is Android 11, and everything is powered by a 4500mAh battery.
