Samsung stops producing the Galaxy Note line

What started in August as a covert rumor, and has received more attention in recent months, now seems to be coming true - Samsung will indeed stop producing the Galaxy Note phone line.

The latest confirmation of these allegations comes from Reuters and is based on information from three sources who know about this topic.

The alleged move by the South Korean company is a consequence of weaker demand for premium phones due to the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. Samsung is reportedly planning to relocate its development resources, which it will direct towards the line of flexible phones.

One source also mentions that Samsung plans to provide S Pen support for the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the company’s next flexible phone. The small stylus will be sold separately in both cases.

It remains to be seen whether the mentioned rumors will come true, and some of them could be confirmed as early as January when the Galaxy S21 series of phones is expected to be released.
