A new PUBG game is expected next year

Despite the excitement over the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game fading considerably compared to the period when the title was at the height of its popularity, the studio behind the popular battle royal shooter still has plenty of plans for a franchise.

The holding company, which is behind the PUBG game, plans to be listed publicly and has announced that a new game within the PUBG universe is expected at some point during the next year.

Although little is known about this title, the plans of the holding company Krafton suggest that the game will be separated from The Callisto Protocol, which is also planned for next year. Before the release of these games, the studio will release a new battle royale title for mobile devices, which will be based on PUBG.

Krafton Inc. is a South Korean holding company in the video game sector, which is responsible for eight different subsidiaries, including PUBG Studio, Bluehole, and Striking Distance. PUBG Studio is, of course, in charge of developing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds game.
