Bitcoin is worth more than $ 40,000

Bitcoin reached its highest value so far on Friday, crossing $ 41,000. The highest recorded value of the currency at one point was $ 41,973. Currently, one Bitcoin is worth about $ 40,000 and the value fluctuates constantly around this number.

The cryptocurrency continued its growth from 2020 to 2021, with a growth of over 300 percent. This development of the situation has attracted numerous investors, who are slowly starting to turn to cryptocurrencies.

JPMorgan's strategic analysts recently suggested that Bitcoin could reach a value of 146,000 in the long run, as it competes with gold as an alternative currency.

There are signs of a sharp rise in demand for cryptocurrencies by retail investors. Crypto exchanges, such as Coinbase and Binance, have seen leaps inactivity, often resulting in technical problems on their platforms, while interest in Google search for Bitcoin has risen significantly earlier this month.
