Gigabyte unveils version 2.0 of its RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO graphics card
Gigabyte has released a 2.0 version of its RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO graphics card, through which it offers gamers a thinner version of the GPU but with the same specifications as before.
Thanks to the @momomo_us and @ harukaze5719 pagers, we know that the new RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO model has a thinner heat conductor, which allows the GPU to have a two-slot design. The dimensions of the video card are 281 x 117 x 40mm (the previous model had dimensions of 285 x 115 x 51mm). Both graphics cards have three fans, with the new version giving users more PCIe space for other add-in cards.
The RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO 2.0 revision places its 8 + 6-pin PCIe input closer to the center of the graphics card. The GPU has a backplate design that offers fewer airflow restrictions for the back card fan, which should improve the cooling capabilities of this model.
Finally, it remains to be seen how the Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO 2.0 revision will work under load and how it compares to the original model in terms of noise.
