The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT could have 12GB of memory and arrive during the first trimester
We already know that AMD will release a new RDNA 2 graphics card during the first half of the year. The company confirmed this during the CES fair but did not provide more precise information on the date of publication.
Now, Andreas Schilling, editor of the HardwareLux portal, has unveiled potential brand labels for the Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card. The GPU will reportedly have 12GB of RAM and will target 1440p resolution. Schilling also hints that this video card could be released during the first quarter, further confirming that a release in March is possible.
In addition to 12GB of video memory, the Radeon RX 6700 XT will most likely also have a 192-bit memory bus, and we’ll see if AMD implements Infinity Cache for more efficient memory throughput.
In addition to the above, rumors suggest that the Radeon RX 6700 XT will have 40 CU and 2560 stream processors, while the RDNA 2 architecture will allow the GPU to surpass its predecessor in performance.
