The Redmi K40 Pro with the Snapdragon 888 chip and another variant will arrive next month
Last week, Redmi announced that the Redmi K40 series will be presented in February. The company also confirmed that the K40 series will arrive at a starting price of 2999 Chinese yuan (about $ 462).
Now, the Weibo page of Wang Teng Thomas (Redmi brand product director) suggests that the company will not only release a version of the phone with the Snapdragon 888 chipset over the next month. This means that there is a possibility that there will be a slightly weaker model within the K40 series, which could use the MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
The teaser for the Redmi K40 Pro series, which the company announced last week, states that it will be equipped with a flat-screen (it is not known whether it will be LCD or AMOLED type). Rumors point to a punch-hole display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz.
It is also mentioned that the phone will be powered by a 4000mAh battery, and support for 33W fast charging is expected.
