Apple’s flexible iPhone could have support for a smart pen
The first rumors that Apple is developing a flexible iPhone appeared at the end of 2017. After that, reports suggested that the phone would finally be ready for the market next year, but a new report by the analytical company EqualOcean postponed that announcement to 2023.
Interestingly, the report also claims that the flexible iPhone will have support for a smartpen. It is not known whether this refers to the current Apple Pencil, which is used by some iPad models, or whether it will be a stylus with a new design.
When opened, the screen of this flexible iPhone will be between 7.3 and 7.6 inches in size. This will allow for a very long aspect ratio, as it is believed that the flexible iPhone will have a folding format (vertical bending as with the Galaxy Z Flip model).
There is no official confirmation from Apple that the company is developing a phone with a flexible screen.
