Marvel’s Avengers version for the next-gen console and the Hawkeye hero arrive in March
The lack of additional content for Marvel’s Avengers, which was supposed to be abundant, negatively affected the game’s popularity, causing the number of players on the PC to drop significantly in recent months.
Square Enix has only now, in mid-February, made official some of the newspapers that will arrive in Marvel’s Avengers, via a special War Table stream. The long-awaited arrival of Hawkeye Heroes will take place next month, on March 18 to be exact. DLC will be completely free for anyone who owns the game.
Along with the new addition comes a new chapter of the story that introduces a villain named Maestro to the scene. These are good steps in the right direction that should attract and bring back the audience, but that it will give results, in the long run, is still not clear.
The next-gen version for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series consoles has also been announced in a special stream. Those who own the game on PS4 / XOne systems can upgrade the game and transfer all the progress at no extra cost. The catch is that you’ll need an activation drive, so that means you won’t be able to do that on the Xbox Series S and digital PS5 console because they don’t have readers.
What does the next-gen version bring?
The package for the new generation of consoles includes standard graphics refresh rates, divided into 2 operating modes. One mode focuses on the resolution itself, with 4K in mind, while the other serves for a better display with 60 frames per second (FPS).
