Microsoft could release Windows 10X in March
We’ve known for some time that Microsoft is working on some major changes to Windows and expanding ecosystems. One of them is the release of the Windows 10X version, which according to earlier allegations is expected at some point during the spring.
Now Microsoft's WalkingCat announcer suggests that the operating system could arrive as "The New Windows", and an official announcement could follow as early as March.
It is stated that Windows 10X will not be offered as a standalone operating system, but will only be available as pre-installed on new devices.
Windows 10X was originally intended to be installed on dual-screen devices, but that plan has changed and the operating system will first appear on single-screen computers.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is finishing work on the Windows 10 21H1 version of its standard platform, and this update is expected during April or May.
