Microsoft will begin deleting older versions of the Edge browser from Windows devices on April 13
Although Microsoft's Internet Explorer has improved rapidly over the years, negative experiences from the past have been difficult to rectify, resulting in Microsoft deciding to create a new browser called the Edge. However, it didn't last long either, as Microsoft later redesigned the Edge using the Chromium platform.
For those who still have an outdated version of Edge on their Windows computer, Microsoft has announced that on April 13, 2021, it will begin uninstalling it and removing the app from your computer. The update will not only delete the old Edge but will also install a Chromium-based browser version, in case the user no longer has it.
For those who have already installed a new version of Edge, this update will not have much of an impact.
