Never seen gameplay video of GoldenEye 007 Remaster revealed

GoldenEye 007 Remaster

The legendary Rare studio released the GoldenEye 007 shooter for Nintendo 64 back in 1997, which soon became one of the essential games when it comes to early multiplayer on consoles. At that time, online gaming did not yet take its present form and was mostly reduced to screen sharing and playing video games when the company came to you. Although all these years we haven't had a chance to experience a real GoldenEye 007 remaster, the other day we got a solid alternative and that is a few hours of gameplay.

One YouTuber has announced a complete campaign and even parts of the GoldenEye 007 remaster multiplayer for the Xbox 360 running at 4k resolution and 60 frames per second via the Xenia emulator. This version was just about to hit Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) before legal issues arose between Nintendo and Microsoft.

YouTuber did not say how he managed to get hold of this version of the game and adds that he was told that something similar would be released this year. While there is no official news yet on whether the GoldenEye 007 remaster will come out this year, we know that IO Interactive has acquired a license for James Bond titles and is currently working on the game and a possible trilogy. Below you can see the gameplay from the GoldenEye 007 updated version.
