Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 will not be released later this year

According to information coming from Activision Blizzard, neither Overwatch 2 nor Diablo 4 will be released during 2021.

Company officials released this information during a meeting with investors but did not provide a timeline for the announcement of the aforementioned games. Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 were shown during the BlizzCon 2019 event, and Blizzard then pointed out that both titles are in the early stages of development.

More information is expected to be available during the BlizzCon 2021 event, which will be held virtually on February 19th and 20th.

Activision is also the owner of the Call of Duty franchise, and the publisher has confirmed that we will get a bigger title within the series this year, as usual.
