Sifu is a new action by Absolver, which we will play this year on Playstation consoles and PC

During Sony's State of Play stream, we were greeted by the announcement of the Sifu combat action.

This is a new project of the indie Sloclap studio, known for working on the game Absolver. Just like the aforementioned indie hit, Sifu has a similar theme, casting us into the role of a young Kung-Fu student on his path of revenge against his family’s killers.

In addition to the recognizable, hand-drawn visuals, Sifu also boasts unique martial mechanics, which draw their inspiration from the effective and rather destructive techniques of Pak-Mei Kung-Fu skills. All of the above guarantees an exciting and attractive action, and the announcement trailer, which you can see below, is the best evidence that we could get such a thing in the end.

Sifu is currently in development for PS4, PS5, and PC, and should go on sale as early as this year. It is also worth noting that the PC version (at least initially) will be available exclusively through the Epic Games Store.
