The new teaser for the Huawei Mate X2 indicates the design of the phone
The announcement on the Weibo site reveals a new poster that Huawei has released for its upcoming Mate X2 flexible phone. The Huawei Mate X2 will, by all accounts, really have a design with the screen bending inwards, as previously suggested.
Huawei opted for this design to prevent wrinkles on the screen. Another important thing, which the poster reveals, is the circle behind the device. Huawei does not mention what this refers to, but the smartphone may have a laptop mode, which was also previously suggested in the rumors.
In laptop mode, one part of the screen will function as a display, while the other will work as a keyboard. It is mentioned that the phone will also have support for a smartpen, which can additionally indicate support for laptop mode and allowing the display to be adjusted and used at different angles.
A post on the Weibo page mentions that the flexible design is not the biggest feature of the phone. It is not mentioned what that feature is, but Huawei may announce something revolutionary.
For now, we know that the Huawei Mate X2 will use a 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset, which has been confirmed by Huawei. TENAA certification previously revealed an 8.01-inch main display with 2480 x 2200p resolution and an external 6.45-inch display with 2700 x 1160p resolution. There will be a 50MP + 16MP + 12MP + 8MP camera system on the back of the phone.
We will find out more official information about the Huawei Mate X2 flexible phone soon, as the presentation of the device will take place during the next week.
