Five things the tutorial at Wild Rift doesn’t teach you
Small details make a drastic difference. Although the tutorial in the Wild Rift mob is very useful, it does not show you the following five settings that will make it even easier for you to play.
1. You can change all controls and their positions
On the Home screen, press the Settings button (gear icon) in the upper right corner. In the lower menu, select the controls and at the top of that screen you will notice the "Customize button layout" where you need to enter to change the controls you want.
The layout of the icons as well as their exact coordinates can be changed. You can create three alternate layouts and save them in the drop-down menu. Personally, the position where the word is located bothers me a lot, since it often happens that I press it instead of ultimate magic. So I recommend you change that first.
Once you're on the control screen, scroll to the "Camera" section where you can set up a few things. The most important option is "Camera pan sensitivity" which controls how fast the screen moves when you drag your finger over it. Although the information in the game says that the higher sensitivity makes it easier to move in one go, for a start I suggest you reduce it and test which setting suits you best.
2. Change the camera sensitivity
You can also change this option while you're in the game when you press the gear next to the minimap, and here you can also adjust the "Button Aiming Sensitivity" which I also suggest reducing to better control your skill shots.
The mentioned change in the sensitivity of the camera affects the view of the map, but also the targeting of long-range capabilities such as Tidal Wave by Nami or Final Spark by Lux that extend beyond your field of vision. While using these spells you will have to hold the button to see the limits of ability and with the other finger control the camera to hit opponents farther away from you. In the image below you can see that Lux’s global ultimate extends beyond our screen.
3. Move the camera to hit the spells

4. Adjust the word mechanics
Again under the controls, in the utility section, you will find the switch for Warding Aim Assist. It is turned on automatically, which means that when you press the word button, the game will help you and place it in the nearest bush. This is a good option for beginners, but when you progress in the game, you will want to have the freedom to place words wherever you think is smart. I suggest that you turn this feature off at some point to get used to and think about where and why you are posting them.
5. Use properties to complete daily missions
Sometimes you will be given a mission to emotions in three or more games, so it is useful to learn how to do this because you will earn precious Blue Motes. While in the game, tap the "Chat" icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Choose a smiley in the side selection and the properties you own will open. When you press them, they will appear above the head of your champion, and you can easily achieve the same result. Just keep your finger on your champion and you will get properties that you can use.
