The Valheim patch brings more space in inventory and nerfs the campfires
While the first big update is slowly crumbling, the Iron Gate studio corrects bugs and problems that players complain about with smaller patches.
Still the most popular game on Steam, it received a minor update that expanded the inventory, from 18 to 24 slots, which will mean a lot to the players who have already advanced in the game. This will make many happy because it is really necessary to have space for all important items. This slot extension is considered to be the largest chest available within the game, and it is also the most expensive.
Another big change in the game is the nerfing of campfires, as the players used them too much to farm the Gray Dwarves so that their place would be surrounded by fire. Instead of burning non-stop, campfires will now slowly lose HP when they damage a character, which means they won’t burn constantly.
There are a lot of other small changes, such as the option for drops to float on water, the harpoon no longer affects the boss characters, wolves are easier to tame. There are several other updates that you can learn more about at this link.
The news about the preparation of the first major update came with the announcement that 6 million copies of the game have been sold so far, but it is not detailed about what kind of news is expected.
