We found out the potential name and setting of this year’s Call of Duty game
April is slowly approaching, which means that we are slowly moving towards the first information related to this year's Call of Duty. The rumors so far have more or less confirmed that Sledgehammer Games is working on the upcoming game. There have already been rumors and potential leaks about the setting and name of the game, and today it brings a few new, though still unofficial details.
Judging by the information coming through a fairly credible source, COD portal Modern Warzone, the new game should be called Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard. As its name suggests in part, its plot should be set in the post-World War II period, in which the previous Sledgehammer Games game, Call of Duty: WWII, took place. Specifically, the game is set to be set in the 1950s, but details of the story itself and the events it could deal with have not been revealed.
The presentation and announcement of Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard (or whatever this year's game is called) is expected in the coming months, and the release of this game is planned for this fall. Whether this time it is a full-blooded next-gen title or we will see this year's edition on PS4, ie Xbox One consoles remain to be seen.
