F1 2021 has been announced, bringing a story mode called Braking Point
In case you forgot, a reminder arrived today - Formula 1 is in the hands of Electronic Arts from this year and the first game of their marriage with Codemasters will be F1 2021 which arrives on July 16 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X / S.
Most of the rumors you may have heard about F1 2021 were ultimately true. So Formula 1 gets its first story mode, called Braking Point. In it, we will follow the driver who is breaking through from the rank of Formula 2 to the world of Formula 1, and we will experience the ups and downs on the racetrack, but also outside it. More details about Braking Point mode will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Another significant novelty is related to what Formula 1 fan has been looking for for years - the possibility of playing a career for two. Careers will now be able to play with friends cooperatively or competitively, and each player will decide on their settings for driving assistance.
There will also be a new Real-Season Start option for players who want to start the season with the current, real standings in Formula 1. However, as the season is already underway, players will be able to drive the remaining 14 races using the Real-Season start.
This will be the first Formula 1 game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, and the next-gen experience will be carried over to the PC version. Faster downloads and better visual presentation await us, and the good news is that customers of the PS4 and XBO versions of the game will be entitled to a free upgrade to the PS5 and XSX / S versions of the game.
