It's on again - Deathloop has been postponed
For a moment, I was worried that in the fifth month we would have to choose what to play because more interesting games are finally coming out, including Resident Evil Village, BioMutant, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and Deathloop. But if I had bet on postponing one of those games I would be a rich man now because the Arkane Studios team has announced that they are still moving the release date of their Deathloop to fall.
Instead of in the fifth month, Deathloop will play on September 14, 2021. This is the second postponement for Deathloop, which was initially supposed to be launched together with the PlayStation 5 console at the end of 2020.
At Arkane, they apologized that players would have to wait an additional five months to play this game, but the health and safety of their employees came first. We hope that the additional development time will result in a game with as few problems as possible.
And who knows - since Deathloop is a game that comes out exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console (with the PC version), maybe its autumn launch will be more successful because then the PlayStation 5 will have a slightly larger user base.
