Ubisoft admits to disappointing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players, will slow patch release
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla had a bunch of “flies” and minor problems on the way out. A good part of them have been fixed through updates, but with the update of the game, some new problems have appeared, such as crashes and broken quests. On the other hand, players were very dissatisfied with the implementation of a system that allows changing the look of the equipment. While the same in AC Odyssey was free and available at any time, in Valhalla it is paid and available only at the campsite.
After all that, Ubisoft admitted that they did not meet the expectations of the players, so they will change some things in the future.
“Our community is at the heart of everything we do and we always strive to provide great experiences for players. With that in mind, we recognize that some of our recent updates may not have met player expectations or been at the level of our standards. ” - they said from Ubisoft, adding that they will take a little more time for future updates. Instead of four weeks, they will work on updates for five weeks.
This decision takes effect immediately, so the next update (1.2.1.) Was moved to April 27, and the first expansion of the Wrath of the Druids was moved to May 13.
