Virtua Fighter 5 could soon appear on the PlayStation 4
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown came out almost ten years ago on the PlayStation 3, but should soon appear on the PlayStation 4 (and, perhaps, therefore on the PlayStation 5 as well).
At least so we conclude from the latest rating the game received in Korea, and if we consider that SEGA shyly announced a new project related to Virtua Fighter at the Tokyo Game Show last year, we may get a remaster of this successful sequel.
"Five" has been with us since 2006, after which the Final Showdown version was subsequently released and we haven't received any new game from the series, nor a hint of the same for ten years. Given how popular fighting games are, it’s certainly weird that there’s no new sequel, and something should happen soon about it. Whether it's a remaster or just a coincidence, we have to wait a little longer.
