Wasteland 3 will get an expansion of The Battle of Steeltown
The post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 3 had a loud competition last year, but it didn’t go unnoticed. Therefore, the inXile Entertainment team will create more content for Wasteland 3, although they have already started working on the next big project - the first one, which has been funded by Microsoft since the start.
The expansion for Wasteland 3 will be called The Battle of Steeltown and will be launched on June 3 this year for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Steeltown is the factory from which Colorado’s weapons originate. That is - that's how it should be, but the plot is that the shipments of weapons are late, so the rangers are given the task to investigate what is happening there. Arriving in Steeltown, they learn that a workers' strike is in force and that the bandits are leading the round. Whether the Rangers bring order to the factory or level it to the ground is up to the players to decide.
The expansion brings new types of enemies and weapons. New mechanics are introduced, such as telegraph attacks, elementary shields, etc. The whole adventure will be scaled according to the level of the players, which means that it will be able to be played by both returnees who have finished Wasteland 3, but also those who are in the process of playing the same.
The expansion price of The Battle of Steeltown will be $ 16.74. The expansion will not be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription, but subscribers will have an additional 10% discount on it.
