Almost too many Dragon Quest games have been announced, including Dragon Quest 12
On one occasion, Riot Games announced almost a dozen games at once. A similar thing happened this morning on the occasion of the presentation for the 35th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series. Square Enix had as many as seven projects to show, and we don't know where to start. Let's go by numbers, I guess.
- Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake in addition to the crazy name brings a remake in the style we saw in Octopath Traveler; the game has been announced for consoles and currently has no release date
- Dragon Quest X will get its Offline version that does not require an internet connection; it was announced for 2022, for now only in Japan
- the same game will get the full name expansion this fall Dragon Quest X: Tensei no Eiyuu-Tachi Online - again only in Japan
- fortunately, there is something for the team outside of Japan: Dragon Quest Treasures will be a spin-off game in which Erik and Mia will go on a treasure hunt, there will be no RPG but something different
- Infinity Strash - Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is also something, look forward to future information
- on the mobile platform comes to the puzzle game Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi - for now only for the Japanese market
- finally - what you’ve been waiting for if you’re a big fan: Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate - a dark adaptation of Dragon Quest for adult audiences, will give players the freedom to decide how characters will live their lives and will change the way battles are controlled; neither the platforms nor the release date is known
