Ghostrunner gets a sequel

As one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences last year, Ghostrunner threw players into a fast-paced cyberpunk world into which they experienced intense moments as ninjas. Those same players have something to look forward to again, as developer One More Level and publisher 505 Games have announced they are working on a sequel that will come out for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X / S.

The news came via a press release, where the publisher spoke of the success of the new IP, which has doubled its investment, selling more than 600,000 copies since its release in October 2020.

Raffaele Galante, co-CEO of 505 Games, Digital Bros., said the following about the announcement: “We are especially excited about the upcoming release of Ghostrunner 2. In collaboration with One More Level, we have created an exciting and interesting video game. This new collaboration deepens the presence of 505 Games within the Polish video game market, which is now among the first in Europe to develop video games, new projects, and talent. We will continue to closely monitor the Polish market to continuously improve and expand our portfolio of video game products that can satisfy the tastes of the entire gaming community. ”

There’s no mention of the sequel coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Switch, although Ghostrunner is currently available on those platforms. But the good news is that 505 Games also noted that Ghostrunner is coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S by the end of this year.
