See how Biomutant runs on all platforms (PC, PS4, XBO)
Ever since the Cyberpunk 2077 debacle on basic models of old consoles, game developers and publishers have been careful about what they display before the game comes out and on which platform. The publishing house THQ Nordic has decided to be completely transparent in the case of its upcoming title Biomutant and has shown a certain part of the game on all platforms - PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
PC platform
The version for the PC platform will be the most flexible and potentially the most beautiful, but it will ultimately depend on the hardware on which it runs. Here's what this PC version looks like at maximum settings at 4K resolution, at 60 fps:
PlayStation 4 Pro & Xbox One X
The Biomutant is not currently in development for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S but will be optimized for more powerful eighth-generation console models. In the following video, you can see how the game runs on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and it will also have this performance on PS5 and XSX / S. It is a combination of 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.
PlayStation 4 & Xbox One
Ultimately, the version for standard PlayStation 4 models and the Xbox One console will run at 1080p resolution at 30 fps, with reduced graphics detail. It doesn’t look bad, far from it, but it’s noticeably weaker than on other platforms. Here's what the PS4 and XBO versions look like:
