Condor is a cooperative multiplayer game under the action title Control
The collaboration between the development studio Remedy Entertainment and the publisher 505 Games continues after Control. Moreover, the new game codenamed Condor will be set in the same world even though it is a spin-off title. But unlike Jesse and her single-player adventures, Condor takes us into a cooperative PvE world for four players.
Just like the base game, Condor will use the Northlight engine so we wouldn’t be surprised how we’ll cooperatively break up the environment and throw things at opponents. It has also been revealed that the game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X / S, but when exactly we will be able to play it is not known.
During the presentation of the game, the initial budget of 25 million euros was revealed, which includes development and marketing. In addition, microtransactions are already planned as publisher 505 Games expects long-term revenue from the game. Whether that means the game will be free upon release can only be speculated.
On the other hand, Control Franchise Director Mikael Kasurinen says: “We want to create something interesting, and yet familiar, something that any of our fans can jump into and feel at home. Together." What is even more interesting, with the announcement of Condor, it was revealed that the Control franchise will expand with a new sequel that will be a bigger game with a bigger budget.
