Crysis Remastered Trilogy has been announced, remasters will still get Crysis 2 and 3

Last year’s Crysis remaster wasn’t ideal, but at least it breathed a little life into the sleeping franchise. A similar thing awaits us this year - only with its sequels. The Saber Interactive team is preparing the Crysis Remastered Trilogy for the fall - a collection of three remasters for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

What exactly is improved in Crysis 2 and Remaster 3? We have no idea - they haven't discovered it yet. Admittedly, it's a bit comical as the announcement video mentions that the Crysis collection is "optimized for the next-gen", and then finally states that there will be no PS5 and XSX / S versions of the game but the game will run in backward compatibility mode on those consoles. What kind of optimization it is then - remains unclear.

In any case, if you have already purchased Crysis Remastered, it is good to know that you will also be able to purchase the remaining two remasters separately. The price has not been mentioned yet.
