The horror title House of Ashes showed us its monster

The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes will be able to play from October 22 this year on PC, PS5, PS4, XBO, and XSX / S platforms, it was announced last night at the Summer Game Fest. We recently saw the game in action but one thing has been left in the dark so far - we have not seen the main threat to the Iraqi underground. Now that too has been revealed in a new video.

Judging by the little information we have, the main opponent of the House of Ashes will be Pazuzu, a Mesopotamian demon described as the king of the demon demons. Pazuzu is the main villain of the series Exorcist, and it is no coincidence that the first film of that series starts in Iraq - exactly where House of Ashes takes place.

Although Pazuzu in the Exorcist is exclusively a villain, according to the original tradition, he is also the protector of pregnant women, ie a demon with several layers. If you have played games from the series The Dark Pictures so far, then you know that the horror in them is not always as it seems at first glance, so I believe that it will be the same here and that Pazuzu was not shown for no reason before the game came out.
