Nintendo spoils Ubisoft's surprise: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope arrives
Ubisoft will hold its conference tonight on the occasion of the E3 fair and it is mostly known what it wants and what it will not show. There was one surprise ready, but now he had ruined it - Nintendo?
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, a sequel to the successful 2017 Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle crossover, has appeared on Nintendo's official website. That game was one of the best Switch exclusives that didn’t come from Nintendo itself, and enough time has passed since it we wouldn’t have hoped for a sequel. However, Nintendo did not "speak" the first - the day before the name of the game was published on the Resetter, now we "only" got a description of it and the first pictures.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will once again be a tactical game, and will be able to be played independently or cooperatively in a group of up to three players. A total of nine characters will be available to us, including Maria, Luigi, Princess Peach, and their Rabbid versions. They will explore the planet and rescue companions called Sparks. From the pictures, the game seems to be visually closer to Ubisoft's than Nintendo's aesthetics this time, and slightly reminds us of last year's Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
According to Nintendo's announcement, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is planned for 2022. Of course, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
