The Xbox now has a game for 2024 as well
The Xbox team recently unveiled their grand plan to launch at least one game of their own production at Game Pass every three months. Given that they have over 20 studios in their possession, such a crazy rhythm is not impossible to keep, but games often experience changes and delays, and the latest example of this seems to be Everwild - a game that comes to us from the Microsoft team that worked Sea of Thieves.
According to a report by the VGC website, this game of coexistence with magical beings is back to the very beginning of development. Last year, the creative director of the game, Simon Woodroffe, left the Rare team, which resulted in numerous changes in the direction of the game's design. Ultimately, it is now mentioned that the game is now in the plan for 2024, which seems like a very distant future.
So far, the Xbox leadership has not been inclined to projects that are in development longer than average, and they are also known for canceling games that were about to be completed and presented several times. Just a few years ago, the action title Scalebound was canceled, and previously it was the multiplayer game Fable Legends.
