Warhammer 40K: Darktide, postponed to 2022.
When the horror adventure Tokyo: Ghostwire was postponed two days ago, we thought it might be the start of a series of summer delays. And indeed, here’s another case of the game announced for 2021, but we’ll still play it in 2022. The next game by the creators of the acclaimed Vermintide called Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now scheduled for spring 2022.
The culprit for the game’s delay is the pandemic, but the decision was actually made to ensure product quality upon release. The developers are hoping that Darktide will be a game that will have support for years to come, so they don’t want to mess up the first attempt to attract an audience.
Luckily for fans of cooperative shooters, this year is already rich in representatives of this genre, so we are still expecting Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Back 4 Blood, and Rainbow Six: Quarantine.
Unless they postpone them too.
