A new South Park game is in development

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have a budget of nearly a billion dollars at their disposal with which they will create a whole range of new content from the world of South Park over the next six years. New seasons of the series, several movies, and - another game are planned.

South Park previously had a bunch of games but in the last ten years only two: The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole. Both games were launched under the baton of Ubisoft, but it doesn’t seem to be the case this time around. An internal team is working on the new South Park.

It is unknown at this time whether the new South Park game will be an RPG genre like the previous ones or will be a different project. Interestingly, the "3D game" is mentioned, which may mean that we will no longer see something in the style of 2D animation for which the series itself is known. This may be just a broken phone, but it wouldn’t be the first time since the first South Park games 2o years ago were in 3D performance. And they weren't exactly famous for that.
