Far Cry 6 changes the formula - enemies won’t always shoot as soon as they see you
Far Cry 6 for the most part looks like the last five Far Cry games in different cellophane, but its creators assure us that they have made a big change in the way the game behaves towards the player. Namely, the player is no longer the main driver of the event - things go on without him.
In an interview with Gamereactor, it was clarified what exactly is meant by that. In short, this will be the first Far Cry in which enemies will not attack you as soon as they see you - under several conditions. The first condition is that you are outside enemy bases, and the second condition is that you do not carry a weapon in your hands but that you have it stored.
If you’ve ever played Far Cry games then you know you’ve always been on target for enemies no matter what part of the map you were on. Now it will no longer be so, which opens up some new possibilities. For example, you can choose the right moment when you will attack an opponent. We had something similar a long time ago in the games from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
It remains to be seen how much of this will be used within the game itself, and we won’t have to wait long for that because Far Cry is coming out as early as the 10th month.
