Rainbow Six Extraction will have free follow-up content upon release
We were able to play Rainbow Six Extraction this year in the ninth month. However, the game has been postponed to 2022 because Ubisoft needs more time to work it out to the end. To make up for another delay, Rainbow Six Siege players were able to settle for a new Containment mode, a practically shortened Extraction.
But last night at the Six Major finals in Mexico, Ubisoft decided to show a new show of the game and remind us what awaits us in the first month of next year. According to previous findings, Rainbow Six Extraction will have four regions in the U.S., of which New York and San Francisco have been confirmed. The maps are three times larger than those from Rainbow Six Siege and each subsequent level on them will carry stronger opponents. One such is the Protheans, the most dangerous and deadly enemies that can mimic operatives, even their DNA.
It is also known from which 18 operatives we will start fighting the infection. These are: Alibi, Smoke, Pulse, Nomad, Lyon, Jäger, Vigil, Sledge, Capitao, IQ, Gridlock, Hibana, Tachanka, Rook, Fuze, Finka, Ela and Doc. All of them, as it is already known, will be able to be automatically unlocked in R6 Siege by the owners of Extraction who have the mentioned game. To make matters better, all subsequent content that arrives in the game after its release will be free to all players. We will find out more about this in the coming months.
As for leveling, we learned more details here as well. As players will be raised, they will have the option of permanently unlocking new contaminated zones, operatives, raising the level of protection at the same and improving their weapons and other necessities. There will also be cosmetic items, unlocking different difficulty levels, getting new technology to help fight the alien threat and the like.
Rainbow Six Extraction, a game set in the Rainbow Six Siege world, comes out in the first month of 2022. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and X / S Series, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna. It will also be available through Ubisoft +, a kind of subscription of the French company.
