In Dying Light 2 we will be able to build schools, training camps, bakeries…
That Dying Light 2 will be full of activities, development studio Techland has been saying since the beginning of the game's development. Apart from the fact that the decisions will change the surroundings of the city, there will also be random events that we will be able to encounter in the open world of the mentioned title. Yesterday, the Polish development studio informed the players via another video on YouTube that they will be able to edit the abandoned facilities.
The city of Villedor is one of the few places in the Dying Light world that manages to stand on its feet despite the apocalypse that has befallen them. Although it has its inhabitants, many buildings have been abandoned and no one lives in them alive. That will change with the arrival of the main character Aiden in a city struggling for survival.
Players will surely come into contact with Aiden during their adventures with dilapidated and half-destroyed houses, buildings, and similar structures. Techland explained that any abandoned facility will be able to be rebuilt. What the players will do with them will be entirely their decision. Players will be able to choose whether they want to encourage schooling by building educational institutions, whether they like art by building art academies, or just want to strengthen the city's residents by setting up military training camps - the choice will be up to them.
Once these facilities are restored, players will receive rewards and new challenges and tasks that they can find within them. It will be really interesting to see if Techland will surprise us with another important feature of the game or will it still leave the players to find out for themselves once this game comes into their hands. Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4, 2022, for PC, PS4, PS5, XONE, and XSX / S.
