The Honor of Kings mobile game will get its RPG in the open world
In the world of mobile gaming in recent years, one name has been fear and trembling. The Honor of Kings, as it is called in China, became the first game played by more than 100 million players daily. And it is quite logical that the Chinese megacorporation Tencent wants to turn Honor of Kings into an even stronger franchise, and for that purpose, they are developing a completely new game in the Honor of Kings universe.
It will be a fantastic open-world RPG, called Honor of Kings: World. It is a high-budget project that is being developed for several different platforms - we assume for PC and consoles, and it is being worked on by Timi Studio Group, which is responsible for the mobile Call of Duty. We also have the first trailer that shows attractive graphics, but also obvious role models in gameplay, and these are the newer Final Fantasy titles and Monster Hunter games.
The game already looks quite attractive, and we wouldn't be surprised if it targets mobile platforms as well. Genshin Impact, another Chinese hit owned by Tencent, currently reigns supreme there.
