This year’s The Game Awards will feature up to 50 new games
The eighth The Game Awards event is approaching soon, and now we have some new information from only the organizer - journalist Geoff Keighley. For those who may have forgotten, the date is 9.12.
Unlike last year when it was a virtual show, this year's Game Awards should be visited by the audience, but as we know, that can change again. With or without an audience, Geoff is announcing this year’s richest program featuring 40 to 50 games in some form. Hopefully, this won’t include 15-second game screenings like it was at this year’s Summer Game Fest.
That number of games will refer to the titles we will play next and in 2023, and we should also see the double-digit number of newly introduced titles. So get ready for WORLD PREMIERE announcements. Of course, we should not forget the commercials or the presence of celebrities and the music part because the orchestra will be present. Also, you might see announcements that don’t fall entirely into the domain of gaming, such as movies and game-related series.
What certainly won’t be at this year’s The Game Awards is NFT stuff so lo and behold, at least one positive thing.
