From today you can try Company of Heroes 3 multiplayer for free
From today, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m., all interested players will be able to try out the upcoming Company of Heroes 3. A multiplayer component will be available in the pre-alpha phase of development, and players will be able to choose between U.S. troops and the Wehrmacht.
Although it is a multiplayer component, you do not necessarily have to play with other players because there is also the option of playing against a computer opponent, solo or cooperative.
This testing will be available until next Monday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m.
If you have already participated in the previous testing of Company of Heroes 3, you will get access to this automatically. If you haven't, you can sign up for testing on the game's official website. Just keep in mind that you need to link your Steam account to your Relica account.
You will need the following hardware to run the game:
Minimum configuration:
- Processor: Intel i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 1600
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon HD 570
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
Recommended configuration:
- Processor: Intel i7-8700k or AMD Ryzen 3800
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
The game's creators note that the pre-alpha version is not optimized for resolutions higher than 1080p. In terms of content, there will be four maps available: one for 1v1 matches and three for 2v2 matches. They will be able to play solo skirmish against AI opponents, co-op against AI opponents, and PvP. The two types of matches will be Victory Points and Annihilation. As this is still a very early version of the game, don't expect a tutorial, tactical map, chat, etc.
