Xbox consoles can now run some games without downloading and installing
Xbox Cloud Gaming has just been launched on Xbox One X / S and Xbox Series X / S consoles. This means that with a subscription to the Xbox Game Pass, some games can be played without downloading and installing - so they are streamed from Microsoft servers. So far, this feature has been reserved for Android devices and PCs (Windows).
There are three handles. First of all, not all games from the Game Pass catalog can be streamed - only "only" a hundred titles. But that’s why most of the Microsoft and Bethesda titles are there. Another thing, Xbox Cloud Gaming is supported in 25 regions/markets. Third, Xbox Cloud Gaming is only available with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription - the more expensive version priced at $ 13.99.
The good news in this will be found primarily by Xbox One console owners. Namely, with Xbox Cloud Gaming, they have the opportunity to play games that are not available on the old generation of Xbox - for example, The Medium, Recompile, and The Riftbreaker. At the beginning of 2022, the Microsoft Flight Simulator will arrive.
A prerequisite for streaming is an Internet speed of 9 Mbps or more and ping to Microsoft servers lower than 60 ms.
