Assassin’s Creed Origins will run at 60 fps on consoles
December 21 marks the so-called ACDay or the day of celebration for the famous series Assassin’s Creed. Longtime fans will know why this date, and as part of that celebration, Ubisoft decided today to cheer up some fans.
They have confirmed that they are working on updating the old Assassin’s Creed Origins, which will run the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S at 60 frames per second. The current limit of AC Origins on all consoles is set at "movie" 30 fps, and only the PC version currently has the luxury of smooth performance.
It has not yet been revealed when this update could be launched, but we will probably have to wait until 2022.
Fans have been calling for AC Origins to be updated since Assassin’s Creed Odyssey received an update this fall that allowed it to run at 60 fps on current consoles.
