From next week you will need to download 40-78 GB if you want to play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
It is rumored that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in update 1.4.1 will bring big things. And it will be a big update if we look at the amount of data that will need to be downloaded by anyone who wants to play the game locally. The update for the PC version will weigh as much as 78 gigabytes, and on consoles it will vary from 40 GB to 71 GB, depending on which console it is.
This update will completely reconstruct the installation of the game, which means that the update will download the entire game. In other words, if you are buying the physical edition of Valhalla for the current version of the game you will need to fully download the digital edition.
The good news is that after this update, the disk space will be less busy. Installation on a PC will lose as much as 34 gigabytes, and on consoles, 13-44 gigabytes depending on the platform. However, this refers to the standard installation of the game itself without expansions.
And when it comes to expansions, rumors are spreading that AC Valhalla will get a huge expansion in the spring with 40+ hours of new content. It's not that the game lacks content, but here - Ubisoft's statistics show that Valhalla is the most played Assassin's Creed so far and that they will continue to slap us with additional content.
