The Godfall that comes with the PS Plus is not the whole game at all
The offer of PS Plus titles for the 12th month did not delight subscribers. Godfall, Mortal Shell, and LEGO DC Super-Villains aren’t some resounding names, but even if you’re looking forward to Godfall for PS4 and PS5, there’s a catch. Namely, the game is divided into the so-called Challenger edition, which does not contain the majority of the game itself - the story, or the campaign.
Instead of a campaign in which the player develops his character, Challenger Edition brings only endgame content. The character is automatically set to the maximum level, and three game modes are available. Lightbringer is practically a horde of fashion, Dreamstones brings random battles with unique rewards, and Ascended Tower of Trials brings battle by floors.
Part of the consolation in this is that the Challenger Edition will be able to be upgraded to the Deluxe Edition to get the main story and expansion of Fire & Darkness. However, that upgrade will not be free, and it has not yet been revealed how much it will cost.
