Star Trek: Resurgence bravely goes where Star Trek already was - in the adventure genre

Who remembers the point-and-click adventure Stark Trek: 25th Anniversary of 29 years ago? Only the biggest fans of the Star Trek, and PNC genre, but have reason to rejoice because something we did not hope for has been announced: Star Trek: Resurgence is a narrative adventure that arrives in the spring of 2022.

The game is being developed by the new Dramatic Labs studio founded by the former president of Telltale Games. Although the game uses Unreal Engine, unlike Telltale's titles, Telltale's presentation trick can still be seen here. In translation, visually Star Trek: Resurgence will not catch you unprepared, and despite the minimalist display, some characters are designed in detail.

Speaking of characters, the game will be set after the event Star Trek: The Next Generation, or Nemesis. He will accompany the crew of the U.S.S. RESOLUTE, and the player will have control over the characters of Captain Jare Rydek and engineer Carter Diaz. The crew will explore a mystery involving two alien civilizations on the brink of war.

As we have already mentioned, Star Trek: Resurgence is coming to us in the spring of 2022, and we will play it on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Series X / S.
