Steam is experimenting with the new Store Hubs system
When you go to the main page on Steam to see the offer of games, you will be greeted by a browser with prominent and recommended games at the top. Currently, in this browser, you can see the name of the game, several screenshots from it, price, genre, and platform for which the game is available. That could soon change as Valve set out to experiment with the new Store Hubs system.
The new look of the central part of the store on Steam in the future could thus show the release date of the game, the average user rating, and more labels for the game itself. The novelty would be that the images from the game are not displayed in the background, but a video or micro-trailer. A new section on recent and upcoming gaming events can also be found at Store Hubs.
Store Hubs has just started testing and there is no guarantee that it will come to life, ie become part of Steam for all users. But if you’re wondering what that might look like, all you need to do is go to this page.
