Age of Empires 4 is reportedly being tested for Xbox consoles

The cult series Age of Empires is synonymous with PC platform exclusives. But history teaches us that the Age of Empires wasn’t always tied exclusively to the PC but once appeared on the PlayStation 2 console and even on the Nokia N-Gage. Now there is a possibility that it will appear on Xbox consoles for the first time.

Age of Empires 4 under the code name reportedly appeared in the Insider Hub database for Xbox users. This does not automatically mean that the Xbox version is ready and baked, but it would not be inconceivable that Microsoft is preparing the Xbox port Age of Empires 4 soon.

It’s not easy to customize a strategy game for the controller, but if they succeeded with Microsoft Flight Simulator, there should be no barriers to AOE4. In any case, confirmation or denial of these allegations is still pending.
